Advisor to the President of the Republic of Poland and Chairman of the Council for Environment, Energy and Natural Resources to the President of the Republic of Poland.
Paweł Sałek graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science of the Częstochowa University of Technology, postgraduate studies in the field of "Assessment and Evaluation of Natural Resource", International MBA and "International Relations and Diplomacy". Author or co-author of many research studies, reports and articles concerning provisions of the UN Climate Convention, instruments of the Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement for the development of Poland.
In the years 2005-2007, a member of the Political Cabinet of the Minister of Environment, he also headed the National Administrator of Emission Allowance Trading System (currently: the National Centre for Emissions Management). Then he was the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Climate and Environment - Government Plenipotentiary for Climate Policy.
In the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, he deals with environmental protection, climate policy and sustainable development.
