Senior Project Manager CO2
Jochen Norwig, who is chemist and materials scientist by training, started his post-doctorate professional career as project manager and group head at Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in 1996, where he studied the interaction of polymers with crystallizing species. 5 years later, he became Head of Research and Development at ANTEC Oberflächentechnik GmbH, an SME focusing on hard coatings deposited by means of plasma-enhanced CVD. In 2002, Jochen Norwig joined Bayer, where he worked for different subgroups and affiliates as manager of national and international R&D projects, mainly in the fields of formulation technology and nanotechnology, and as innovation manager specializing in public funding.
Since July 2014, Jochen Norwig coordinates at Covestro R&D&I consortia dedicated to the use of CO2 as C1 building block for the synthesis of polymers.
